Dr. Michael J. Stablein, the 2010 president of the Chicago Dental Society, died Nov. 14 in Mexico City of an apparent heart attack. He was 61 years old.

Washington—The Association introduced a strategic action plan to improve health literacy in dentistry Nov. 16 at a forum co-hosted by the ADA, American Medical Association and American Academy of Pediatrics.

Oklahoma City—Oct. 23 was a day of celebration at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center as five Community Dental Health Coordinator participants received their white coats in a special recognition ceremony.
