Loma Linda, Calif.—Loma Linda University School of Dentistry has appointed Executive Associate Dean Ronald Daily, Ph.D., to serve as its fifth dean. Dr. Daily will replace Dr. Charles Goodacre, who has served in the position since 1994.
New York—Columbia University College of Dental Medicine has tapped pain management and temporomandibular joint and muscle disorders expert Dr. Christian S. Stohler to lead the school as dean. He also will serve as senior vice president of Columbia University Medical Center.
Oklahoma City—The largest single gift ever to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, a $3.2 million lead gift from the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation, will support “significant renovations” toward the training of tomorrow’s dental professionals, the University and Delta Dental of Oklahoma presidents said.
