NIH invites student research applications

Bethesda, Md.—The National Institutes of Health (NIH) will accept applications from medical, osteopathic, and dental students Oct. 1, 2011, through mid-January 2012 for a new Medical Research Scholars Program offering basic, clinical, and translational research experiences with intramural investigators at the NIH Clinical Center, in Bethesda, MD. The NIH expects to admit at least 40 students during the program’s first year, which begins in September 2012.
