The ADA Standards Committee on Dental Informatics has approved for circulation and comment Proposed ADA Technical Report No. 1054 for Electronic Dental Laboratory Prescriptions. The report presents the types of data and electronic format necessary to be included on an electronic dental laboratory prescription. The goal of the report is to address the need for electronic transmission of patient information from the dentist to the laboratory with the necessary security and interoperability.

They came to talk about ADA Catalog products and provide feedback to the staff that creates them. They left with a better understanding of how products are conceived and executed.

Dentists routinely caution patients about the over-consumption of soda pop, juice and sports drinks that pack little if any nutritional value and take a toll on teeth.
