Washington—Bipartisan lawmakers introduced ADA-backed dental emergency responder legislation in the House of Representatives Feb. 9, saying it would strengthen the nation’s medical response capability.
Garden City, N.Y.—Standing before an audience of volunteers from every corner of the dental profession, ADA President-elect William Calnon called Give Kids a Smile one of the Association’s “most important initiatives.”
The ADA and the National Association of School Nurses will launch a nationwide school-based oral health awareness campaign this summer.
